The purpose of the school is to demonstrate cooking with the electric range: The class will be conducted by Mary Black and sponsored by the Womens Book Cliff club. At the Book Cliff clubs regular meeting April 27, the officers for next year were elected. They arc Mary Daily, president; Hazel Morgan, vice president; Helen Durrant, recording secretary; Kissel, treasurer; Wanda Cassano, corresponding secretary. The program was under the direction of Margaret- - Heers and her commtitee consisting of Thel- Jo-A- nn ma Wright, Norma Delost, Alice Faddis and Marcell Tucker. On the program was a tap dance by Joan St Clair and F. S. Slaugh of Price lectured on Arabia and Its Customs. Birthday Celebrated Six birthdays were celebrated in Sunnydale during the last week The first one was Jerry Murphy who had his party Friday. There were 19 little friends at the party. Jerry was 3 years old and it was his first party. He is the son of Mr and Mrs. H. T. Murphy. Saturday afternoon Dale Hyatt had her birthday party. She wa.-years old and she is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Burke Hya Saturday evening Scott Jeffs entertained 30 boys and girls at a birthday party. The party was held in the Sunnyside library and the evening was spent playing games and dancing. Scott was 14. Sunday, Loretta McCourt had a birthday party. She had 21 friends and they all had a lovely time. She was six years old and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom McCourt. Monday after school Valene McCourt, another daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom ' McCourt, had friends in to help her celebrate her 9th birthday. The last party was Wednesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Larson for their three-year-o- ld daughter, Kathleen. She had 11 little friends for the party. Mr. and Mrs. LeGrande Graham' made a trip to Salt Lake Wednesday in their new Buick. Mrs. Fred Gourdin and two daughters from Orem have been visiting their parents and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Della Corte of Sunnyside. They stayed a week and returned to their home Sunday, April 26. Other guests at the Della Corte home were Mrs. Pireina Fonzasin and daughter, Bonnie, from Prince ton, Michigan. Mrs Fonzasin is a cousin of Mrs. Della Corte. They lived in Sunnyside for 25 years but have been gone for 14 years and this is their first return visit. They enjoyed a two weeks visit and returned to their home last week. Mr. and Mrs..
