Katie passed away the morning of Wednesday, January 11, 1984 at the Rennie Memorial Nursing Home in Evanston, Wyoming at the age of CATHERINE W. BRYSON Catherine Walton Bryson, was , born on November 2, 1891 in Auburn, Lincoln County, Wyoming. She was the fifth of seven children to be born to'Dilla Walton and Ida Call Walton. Katie moved with her family from Star Valley to Woodruff during: her teenage years. She married Luther P. Bryson on February 13, 1913 in the.Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple. Luther and Katie celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary in 1976. Luther passed away November 25, 1976 at their home in Woodruff where they had resided all of their married life. Luther and Katie were the parents of five children: twin daughters. Zerga and Alther, and three sons: Luther Chester, Carlyle' Walton, and Samuel Kay. Katie helped in the community was by caring for the sick and she active in the Ward Organizatiqns. She helned take care of the 92. She was preceeded in death by her brothers: Vasco Walton, Clarence Walton and Chester Walton and three sisters: Nellie Eastmen, Florence Murphy and Gladys Summers. A daughter, Althea Bryson, also preceeded her in death on March 20, : 1980. is survived by one Zerea daughter, Jessop of Randolph; her sons Chester Bryson of Santa-quiUtah, Carlyle W. It has three layers of ice now and if the weather cooperates we will soon be enjoying it. John Lillywhite of Laketown, Utah, received the Faith in God award in Sacrament Services Sunday, January 15, 1984. Congratulations go to John for this achievement. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wamsley of Woodruff talked about their mission in Sacrament Meeting in the Laketown Ward Sunday, January 15, 1984. They are the parents of Stuart Wamsley of Round Valley. After Sacrament they enjoyed dinner at their sons home. . Jeremy Webb had the misfortune of breaking his leg while swinging in his backyard. Now he has a cast, from above his knee down to his toes, to contend with for two four months. -- A - special P.T.A. meeting was held January 16 at the North Rich Media Center. Lois Astle, P.T.A. President called the meeting to order and introduced Superintendant Giles Parker, who presented a slide presentation which was introduced at the State Legislature for improving Utahs Educational system. After the program, questions were answered by Superintendant Parker. School board member Mike Madsen reported on the school board convention which he attended in Salt Lake City on January 12 and 13. |
