That Notice is hereby cancelled. The following described public land has been examined and identified as suitable for disposal by sale under Section 203 of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 (90 Stat. 2750, 43 U.S.C. 1713) or FLPMA: Acreage Legal Description 524-534- 8 T.6S..R. 18W..SLB&M 40 40 60 NW4, NW4 acres The land is being offered by direct sale to Mr. Gail Bunker at the appraised fair market value of $17,500. The lands are being offered for sale to serve the public objective of economic development and the growing of cultivated crops. Authorizing the 140 farming of these lands will enhance Mr. Bunkers adjoining farm operation. The objective could not be achieved on other public land such as a parcel that was noncontiguous. The parcel does not possess more important public values than economic development since livestock grazing is the present and projected use of the land. The tract is no larger than necessary to support a farm. A direct sale to Mr. Bunker will recognize a preference to him as a user with existing improvements and as an family-size- d adjoining landowner, as set forth in FLMPA. The salt is consistent with the Bureau of Land Managements planning system and with Tooele County planning and zoning. The public lands will be sold on the 21st day of August, 1984.
