Show Grantsville News orkshops Offered At Grantsville Middle School Grantsville community schools will offer a leather and rawhide workshop starting Wednesday, June 20 at 7 p.m. and running every Wednesday for three weeks. It will be held in the Grantsville Middle School shop. The registration fee may be paid at that time. If eight or more people enroll the registration fee will be $6.00. If less than eight attend the fee will be slightly more. This workshop is designed to provide a place where people with their own leather may come and Babies Blessed In Grantsville Babies blessed in the Grantsville Sixth Ward this month included: daughter of Melvin and Becky Christley was named Heidi Ann; son of Mike and Sherry Johnson was named Seth Wrath-all- ; son of Mike and Jean Bolinder was named Chase Cameron. For the braiders the process of making and braiding rawhide will be presented and some of the braids and knots will be taught. Clark Imlay will supervise the workshop and instruct in the braiding. He will provide tools and patterns for the leather workers. The braiders should bring a fid and some leather or plastic lace to learn the braids and knots. He will be the featured speaker June 10th at 1:15 p.m. in the Grantsville Third Ward. Ken will enter the Mission Training Center on June 14. He is the son of Verl and Lois Young. Called To Brian Geldmacher, son of Charles and Tonna Geldmacher, has been called to serve an LDS Mission in Saporro, Japan. He will be the featured speaker Sunday, June 10 at 1 p.m. in the Grantsville First Ward, located at Sat., JUNE 15th Matinees 2 P.M. & 16th Nights 8 P.M. High School. City Park beginning with Holy Eucharist at 9:30 a.m. It will be followed by a pot luck lunch. All parishioners are invited to attend this celebration.
