However in the second half Grantsville took charge and with Thornton, Ronda Murphy and JoAnn Orr firing away, Grantsville to overoutscored Union come the Union lead and gain the non-leagu- Coach Janet Matthews was able to give her entire squad playing time and they all played well, executing their plays, and taking advantage of many options when the set plays were disrupted. Last Friday Dugway traveled to Wendover for its first meeting with the team that is expected to provide the toughest competition for Dugway as they seek a region title. For a time it was a typical battle, with neither team asking or giving any advantage. But as the game wore on Bruce began to take charge as the Mustangs steadily pulled away from Werndover to Wendover-Dugwa- scoring column. Tammy Leikem, a sophomore completely dominated the boards, being credited with 25 rebounds during the contest and hitting for t , 13 points. Miss Bunn, Tooele's backcourt whiz was at her scintillating best as she consistently hit the open player for points with crisp and accurate passes. Bunn dished out five big assists and scored 12 points to cap her afternooiis work.
