"It is actually the focal point of the county and provides the referral services that would help senior he said. ca The basic services of nutrition a and transportation are offered to h H 4 citizens, those over 60 years old, but those over 55 years old can join the organization. In an emergency, though, adult services are provided. "It is directed toward those who really need the services and provides access to people who have time on their hands," Dymock said. The center in Tooele is well cared for. Along with funding from the state and county, volunteers come in large numbers to donate their time and services. The services include health, nutrition, transportation, recreation, socialization and home services. The health clinic provides full services where nurses from the University of Utah donate their time once a quarter. Enormous support is also received from fraternal organizations such as the Elks and womens organizations such as the Homemakers club. The Chamber of Commerce has also given support. l The delivery service is also an important service to the home-mea- community. "I think the trend is to go more into home services, Mr. Dymock said. Another important program is TAP; "The Alternative Program. This service is provided to those who if no Center services were provided, they would need to be in a nursing home in 90 days.
