The next meeting will be held Monday, February 7 at the courthouse auditorium at 10 a.m. An interesting meeting is planned on Spirit Week ' Spotlighted TEAD Wives Club To Meet Wearing boots and ties to school and arm wrestling at lunch are a few of the many activities that will highlight Spirit Week at THS this coming week. The cheerleaders have planned many activities throughout the to boost week of January school spirit for the many athletic events that will be taking place. The spirit stick will be hidden and clues will be given throughout the week until it is found. There will be class competitions as usual. One girl and one boy from each grade will be chosen to compete against each other. If the girl wins, she will gain the points for the girls in her class, and likewise for the boys. Monday is U.S. Day in which students will dress patriotically. At lunch, there will be a contest in the student lounge. Tuesday will be accented by students wearing boots of any type to school, with a balloon stomp at lunch. Wednesday is "Tie 'Em Up Day and Thursday is the day students are encouraged to dress like their favorite sport The week will be climaxed by Purple and White Day on Friday.
