Show cn Involvement Is Key Word At Fine Arts Open House The doors to the captivating world of fine arts will be opened to the public Saturday, November 6 at the University of Utahs an- nual Homecoming Open House. The departments of art, ballet, modern dance, theatre and music will join with the Graduate School of Architecture in presenting an array of exhibits, demonstrations and performances between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at the Art and Ar- involvement through looking, listening and participating, says Elizabeth Haglund, coordinator of the open house and assistant to the vice president for university relations. The event is designed for family appeal and there is no admission charge, she says. The Universitys open house has for the past four years featured at- tractions from throughout the campus. This year, Hagland notes, "the focus is on two of the Univer- sitys professional colleges which reach directly into the community and region through extensive programs of performances, lectures, exhibitions and services. "The open house offers an opview portunity for a students-eyof the U of U and a survey of whats happening in these academic areas.
