Show TOOELE COUNTY BUSINESSMAN OF THE WEEK: Jl Richard H. Weight. Tooele Citv presently serving as of the Utah Chapter of the National Association of Postmasters of the United States was recently elected to serve as president of the group for the year 1979 at the annual convention of the Utah chapter. Mr. Weight's postal career has spanned over 15 years, starting as a temporary clerk and carrier, lie was appointed as Assistant Postmaster in 1970 and served as of the Tooele Post Office until 1972 when he was appointed as Postmaster. He also served as a lxiard member of the l'S Civil Service Board of Examiners, and postmaster Officer-in-Charg- e was temporary Branch Superintendent of the T D Park Branch. He was bom in Trxiele to Bert and Ethel Weight. He was educated in Tooele schools and after graduating from Tooele High School attended BYU for a short tune Ix'fore entering the U.S. Postal Service. Richard is married to the former Nance Wevland of Tooele and they are the parents of five children: Brian 1. Man 11 Darin S, Marci 4. and Roue 1. n active ineinlrer of the EDS Church. Postmaster Weight has served in two bishoprics, priesthood stake and ward auxiliaries. t the present time he serves on the High Council of the Tooele North Stake.
