Show ANNUAL FARM GARDEN RANCH UMir Skeen, Weber County farmer, produced 30 tons of corn silage last season with Funk's G 4507 . . . almost double the state average. This variety, a new introduction, was developed especially for Utah growing conditions. These Holstein cows in northern Utah are enjoying their daily ration of WL-30alfalfa, a variety possessing superior winter hardiness, strong 6tand persistence and outstanding resistance to bacterial wilt, pea aphids and spotted alfalfa aphids. Its leaves are produced all the way down the slender stems. 9 Turkeys rank fourth in Utah's cash receipts from agricultural products. Sanpete County is among the top ten turkey producing counties in the United States. There are an estimated 40,000 breeder turkey hens in Utah. In past years cash sales have approached 40 million dollars annually. Supplement Wheat production in Utah averages well above 6,000,000 bushels per year. Box Elder County produces close to 40 percent of the state total. Other leading wheat producing counties are Cache, Salt Lake, Utah, Juab, Millard and San Juan.
