After analyzing the statistics and reliving the game, the coaching staff decided that John Boltz and Boli Stringham lioth played so well and so evenly, and both contributed equally to Tooele's effort that they should lie designated Flayers of the Week. IT IS THE second time Boltz has earned this high honor and he gets the nod mainly liecause of his defense 15 relxmndx, his and the fact that ol John blocked 5 shots. Follwoing the game, Judge coach, Jim Yerkovich stated that never in his coaching career had a team of his lieen lieaton so bad on the lxiards. That statement was due, largely to the work of Boltz. BOB STRINGHAM has lieen in the athletic limelight for so many years, and in so many sports that it is difficult to remember that this talented player is still just a junior. He plays much better than his years, and certainly mast rank athas one of the finest letes to ever wear the Purple and Team Standings: Ball Bales: Ditch Diggers: Lucky 13: program. It is expected that this trio will continue to lead their teams in racking up the points. JAMES ALLEN has lieen dropped from the Buff squad which poses a problem for Gardner. Will he start, Stringham, Sorenson, and his three big men, Ray Stewart, David Kriffith and John Boltz, or will he spell his trio off, and insert Scooter Sorenson, a sophomore, into the lineup?
