Much of the beef sold in our area is advertised as Yield Grade 5 - meaning levs useable meat than from a Yield Grade 3 carcass. Rather than tie up both freeer space and the goodly sum of money required when you buy beef by the carcass, watch advertised specials and buy only the cuts you prefer. You can buy as little or as much of any particular cut you desire, and control the amount of money you spendat one time. You may even save money over purchasing in bulk. Ve are a nation with an expanding population and a growing appetite for lieef. Ve must recognize that farmers and ranchers will lie able to meet our demands for red meat only if they see a chance for profits for their efforts. Consumer resistance is not the answer. If we want to buy beef next year, wed better get out there and start busing beet at todays prices. Ve cant afford to deprive ourselves of the benefits of both good eating and good nutrition. -- GOURMET TUNA CASSEROLE Heat together, stirring until smooth, 1 can (104 ounces) cream of chicken or mushroom soup, one can of Cheddar Cheese Soup and 2 cans of water.
