JUDGING WILL take place on Friday June 13th at 7:30 p.m. in the Bit and Spur Arena and the public has been invited to attend without charge. Although no one knows who will be queen, one thing is certain, she will be an excellent horsewoman for over 50 percent of all qualifing points will be awarded on the basis of how well the contestant can handle her mount. The remaining points will be divided equally between the appearance of the horse and its trappings and the poise and personality of the contestant. Last year saw the inauguration of this special tourney which Golf Pro Earl Schneiter termed a great success with 80 grandmothers taking part. Schneiter said he expects an even greater field this year. Entries for the one day event will be accepted right up through Tuesday, June 11. Along with the six dollar entry fee the grandmothers must also provide proof that they are indeed grandmothers. This evidence should be taken to Pro Schneiter before the deadline.
