Show Page 9 Wednesday, May 14, 2003 (Ehc following areas: Wildlife Board members wanted The Utah Wildlife Board Nominating Committee is accepting nominations to fill the vacancies created by the expiring terms of Coni Brooks of the Central Wildlife Region and Paul Neimeyer of the Southern Wildlife Region. Coni Brooks has served two full terms on the board and must be replaced. Paul Neimeyer is eligible to be renominated to serve a second term. The Wildlife Board conducts regular public hearings to receive public comments, establish policy and set rules and regulations governing all wildlife in the state. Members days per year and are encouraged to attend Regional Advisory Council meetings in their area. Some overnight travel is required. The nominating committee will forward at least two names for each vacancy to the governor who will make the selections. The applicants must come from the Central, meet 1) wildlife management or biology, 2) habitat management, range or aquatic, 3) business, including knowledge of private 10-1- 2 Southeastern, Southern or Northeastern wildlife regions of the state. The Northern Region is excluded as it already has two members on the Wildlife Board. Applicants must have expertise or experience in at least one of the land issues and 4) economics, including knowledge of recreational wildlife uses. Citizens wishing to be considered for appointment to the Utah Wildlife Board are invited to send resumes of not more than three pages to: Mr. Don Peay, Chair, Utah Wildlife Board Nominating Committee, Utah.
