The score for the game was 55 to 36. The team didnt play real well, stated Coach Wallace. We made some mistakes that hurt us in the long run, he said. There were two high scorers for the game: Preston Jones with 12 and Bart Garrett with 10. The JV team was also defeated 63 to 47. We played bad defense, stated Coach Jacobsen. The Freshman team defeated Richfield 51 to 48. Coach Jeff Wallace was really pleased with the teams performance. The guards penetrated great and had some great dishes to the post players, he said. Jimmy Coray led the team in points. He had 17. The Varsity team also lost to Millard 49 to 61. ShanteU Hall has the high scorer for the team. She had 18 points. She also was the high rebounder. She had 5 re Millard 63 to 61 in overtime last Friday night. Coach Wallace felt that Dustin Mace was the outstanding player of the game, He stepped up and played real well, he stated. Dustin had 19 points and 8 rebounds. Preston Jones had 16 points 7 rebounds and Bart Garrett had 14 points also helping out the team. Before overtime Juab had made all of their foul shots except for 5. The JV team defeated Millard 48 to 36. It was a good team effort and good team defense, stated Coach Jacobsen.
