Jones of Nephi, was recently named state champion in her age group in the floor routine division of the state gymnastics meet. The meet was held Saturday at Alta High School. Elaine competed with 60 other gyme nasts in her age group. All winners received a medal. Miss Jones is a member of the All Star Gymnastics team from Orem and Nephi. Mikkelsen said. I am accepting this award for all the teachers in the said Mrs. Bowles. district, We have many great teachers. All the reward I want is to see the progress of each child. I treat each child as a little adult the way an adult would like first-plac- to be treated. Because I lost two little ones, I value each child as a unique individual, she said.
