Show Cancer society urges memorial contributions School board names Robinson BB coach The Juab School District '.Board of Education met in ; regular session May 18. Following the ceremony, the new Mr. and Mrs. Howard were honored at a wedding dinner given by Mrs. Vest. Ten guests were present. The board approved $150 per student to help defray expenses and $400 for the expenses of an advisor to accompany them. The board approved $20,000 for instructional equipment and furniture for the Mona Elementary School. The board also directed the superintendent and the building director to proceed with moving the sod from the middle school construction to the Mona school and get estimates for sprinkling the area to be sodded, which is the area adjoining the school. The board revised and adopted an agreement of association to formalize its control over and relation to the Mt. Nebo Training Center. The revision clears up the centers responsibilities to the district and to district policy. It also requires the permission of the board to expend training funds for purposes other than actual operation of the workshop. The board adopted a policy on scholastic eligiblity for high school students to participate in interschool activities. The policy requires that students be and that they be passing in all classes, or that they maintain a 2.0 grade-poin- t average.
