All rules and regulations and amendments thereto adopted pursuant to the previous ordinance are hereby readopted and are in full force and effect. APPLICATION Section FOR SERVICE. Every person desiring to obtain electric service from the department shall make application therefore in writing upon forms furnished by the department stating therein the location by street and number desired to be given such service and stating the type of service desired. TEMPORARY Section SERVICE. All persons desiring service while electric temporary home or business is under construction must make application therefore and pay a twenty dollar fee in advance. All power used through temporary meter will be billed separately. The twenty dollar fee is only applicable if there is a power source available. If it is necessary to build lines to pick up temporary service, the cost of building and cost of removing the line will be added to the twenty dollar fee. METERS -ISection NSTALLATION AND TESTINC. The electrical department shall cause to be installed and maintained one meter for each trical service for each class of service supplied. Each service connection shall be billed independently of all others. Extra meters, for the consumer's convenience, shall be supplied at the customer's expense. All meters shall be tested periodically by the department. RICHT TO Section INSPECMETFR PREMISES, TION AND METER READINC. (a) All customers being served with electric power shall give to the electric department and its employees, permission to enter the premises for the purpose of reading and inspecting meters and keeping in repair and removing all or any part of the apparatus or property owned by the city in connection with the supplying of electricity. The property owner andor tenant will be responsible to maintain adequate clearance around the meter to facilitate reading, maintenance, inspection, or other required operations in connection with the meter. (b) The customer shall be required to provide access to the meter through the property without department employees being required to gain access to the meter through another customer's premises. The consumer shall be responsible to provide a route of access to the meter, free from litter and threat of vicious any animal, overgrowth, or other hindrance which may be detrimental to the safety of the city employee or in hindrance of their work. (c) If the above conditions are not met, it shall be the right of the department to disconnect the electric power serving the premises of the consumer who is in violation of the stated ordinance. Such disconnection shall be made only after giving a written notice to remedy the condition, in which the customer shall be given no less than five days nor more than fifteen days to remedy the violation. (d) It shall be unlawful for any person to maintain a condition contrary to the provisions of this subsection after due notice and time for compliance has been given. SUBMETERS.
