Show thee shall be called the Son of God. Mary, the handmaiden of God the Eternal Father, was chosen above all others to be the earthly mother of Jesus, the only begotten of the Father. She humbly accepted the travail of the birth of the Savior in the lowly manger. Joseph, her espoused husband, humbly and willingly accepted the will of God. The wonderous events of that night, so long foretold, have been honored in many ways and in many places during the past 2,000 years.
