The Utah Traffic Code-Rule- s of the Road 1974-a- s compiled, prepared and published in code book form by the Department of Public Safety of the State of Utah, (hereinafter "code") is hereby approved and adopted as the Traffic Code of this municipality, except as hereinafter specified, and is made a part of this Ordinance as though herein fully printed. (a) All references in the code to the State Road Commission shall be deemed to mean this municipality and its department, agencies, or agents, unless the context otherwise requires. (b) All references to "local authorities" shall be deemed to mean the governing body of this municipality. Section 12. Validity. If any part of this Ordinance is or shall be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such invalidity shall not invalidate the remainder of this Ordinance. Section 13. Filing. Three copies of the Utah Traffic Code-Ru- les of the Road 1974 hereby adopted by reference shall be filed for use and examination by the public in the office of the recorder. Section 14. Repeal of Conflicting Ordinances. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are herby repealed. Section 15. Effective Date. This Ordinance becomes effective on January 1, 1976, except Section 10 which shall become effective on April 1, 1976.
