Show Thursday, February 10, 1972 N page NepM, Juab County, Utah MM 8 soc Rites at Mona Unite Young Couple January 21 On January 21, Miss Shirlene Keyte daughter of Mr. and Mrs. V. S. Keyte of Mona, became the bride of Richard E. Wright, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Wright of Provo. The ceremony was performed by Bishop Vaughn J. Paxman of Nephi, teacher at the Juab Stake Seminary, in the presence of friends and relatives. The bride was attired In a beautiful gown of silk organza, with long pointed sleeves, a full circular skirt with a front pannel accented with lace. Her floor length veil of bridal illusion fell from a Dutch styled cap. She carried a bouquet of red roses and white carnations. Mrs. Rose Boswell was matron of honor and Brent Lister stood as best man. Little Heidi Boswell was the flower girl. After the festivities the newly weds left on a honeymoon trip. On Friday evening, February 4, a ladies reception was given in their honor at the Mona Ward Cultural Hall. Greeting the guests were the new Mrs. Richard E. Wright, her mother, Mrs. V. S. Keyte; the grooms mother, Mrs. E. L. Wright; and the brides mother, Mrs. Rose Boswell. Tiny Tammy and Heidi Boswell thank-yo- u notes. Special distributed guests were the brides grandmother, Mrs. Grace Keith of Bakersfield, California, and her aunt, Mrs. Helen Keith of Azusa, California. Presiding at the guest book were Stanley and Nancy Neilsen. Gift bearers were Gina Keyte and Carmen Jacobsen. At the gift table were Lisa Beth-er- s. Wright, Vicki Hadlock, and Louise Serving were Lesa Newton, Peggy Cowan and Janet Hill. A shower for the bride was given by the girls of the Juab High School ProVita. In addition to many lovely gifts, the girls presented her with a wedding cake and a bridal bouquet The new Mr. and Mrs. Wright are making their home in Provo where the groom Is employed and Mrs. Wright is continuing her high school education at Provo High School. Motel Association Board imnnim Schedules St. George Confab The Utah Motel Association will hold its monthly executive board meeting on Monday, February 14 at St. George, according to Bob Andersen, Nephi and Provo motel operator, who is a member of the Association board. Major item to be considered at this meeting will be approval of the publication of the "Utah Fact Book, a travel ished annually by the Motel Association in cooperation with the Utah Travel Council. Wrigth (Shirlene Keyte) Announce Marriage Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Williams of Mills announce the marriage of their daughter, Karla, to Robert L. Robinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Robinson of Levan. The marriage was performed on January 3, at the home of the brides parents in Mills, by Bishop Heber Tay- lor of the Levan Ward. Ellen Ostler and Fay Williams were bridesmaids, and Allen Williams performed duties of best man. The couple honeymooned in Arizona and New Mexico and are now making their home in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Mr. Robinson is stationed at Peterson Air Force Base. Jerry Westring, Sandra Langford The Levan Lions Club held a ladies night on Thursday, February 3 at the City Hall. Everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner prepared by Mr. and Mrs. Gay Worwood, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Christensen, and Mr. and Mrs. Heber Taylor. A talk on traffic safety was given by Highway Patrol Sergeant A. Rex Hill. Sgt Hill gave statistics on accidents, and stated that Friday and Saturday are the worst days of the week, with the most accidents happening on these days. He gave pointers for driving on the freeways. He discussed other aspects of safety. Mrs. Lavon Sherwood, Renae Manske and Mrs. Mark Winn sang several selections, accompanied by Mark Winn on the Several musical numbers also guitar. were given by Phyllis and Doyle Beard on the guitar. Enjoying the evening were President and Mrs. Heber G.
