SMITH BAKERY Mrs. Dean F. Johnson and six children of Bountiful, Mr. and Mrs. James H. Crane and three children, Mrs. Claron Bailey and seven children of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. George T. Crane and four children of Dugway spent Saturday, July 3 at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Crane, and to assst their parents in a lot beautification project. Refreshments were enjoyed by all present Visitors on Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Carter were Mr. and Mrs. Walt McGinley of Cedar City. Mrs. McGinley is a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carter. Verl Garrett and sons Jeff, Brad and Dean of Clearfield spent two days last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd B. Garrett Week end guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Garrett were Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Garrett and children Cheryl and Cathy of Clearfield. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Bird of Logan spent the week end with Mrs. Leonard Belllston. Eileen and Connie Bird are visiting for a month with their grandmother, Mrs. Leonard Belllston. Other visitors at the Belliston home this week are her daughter, Mrs. Joyce VanNosdol and Mr. and Mrs. Milo Cazier have as children Janice and Sandra of Payson. their guests this week, their great grandchildren: Joy Lee, Sherrie Dawn, Cindy Ann and Darren Ellison of Orem. Public Invited to Ground Breaking Week end visitors at the home of Mrs. T. D. Davis were her sons. Dr. J. R. Davis of Pocatello, Idaho and Thomas D. Davis and sons. Tom has recently moved from Kansas City to Twin Falls, Idaho. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Gobin of Provo. Other guests at the dinner were Mrs. Marie Butler and grandchildren David and Christy Boswell. Mrs. Florence Worthington of Logan spent the week end with her mother, Mrs. T. H. Burton. On Sunday, Mrs. Burton, Mrs. Worthington and Mr. and Mrs. Clem Hesse attended sacrament meeting in Orem where the new daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Blake was named and blessed. Po-jec- Mr. and Mrs. Ray Richins were week end guests at the home of her mother, Mrs. Olive Broadhead. Mr. Richins is attending the Brigham Young University. PROBLEM: Worm drive and bearings break down under pressure. Dr. and Mrs. Sherman E. Brough and family of Vancouver, British Columbia, are spending a two weeks summer vacation with his family, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brough. Other visitors at the Brough home over the week end were their son in law and daughter. Dr. and Mrs. John J. Bateman and children of Salt Lake City. Beck, son Richard and daughter Karla of Nyssa, Oregon; Mr. and Mrs. John Beck and daughter Kristine of St. John, Arizona, Mr. and Mrs. Craig D. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Haney and family spent Saturday in Dragerton with Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Tharp and baby. Two native Utahns who have risen to top federal government positions will be featured speakers at the groundbreaking ceremony marking the start of the Strawberry Reservoir Enlargement project Saturday, July 10. Ellis Armstrong, U. S. Commissioner of Reclamation, and Edward P. Cliff, chief of the Forest Service, will speak at the public ceremony scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at the Soldier Creek Damsite near Strawberry Reservoir. Mr. Armstrong is a native of Cedar City, and Mr. Cliff of Heber City. The ceremony is sponsored by the Central Utah Water Conservancy Distt, rict, sponsor of the Central Utah of which the reservoir enlargement is one component Lynn S. Ludlow, CUWCD general manager, said the U. S. Bureau of which is constructing the various segments of the Central Utah Project will assist the District in the staging of the public ceremony. A key feature of the enlargement project is the Soldier Creek Dam, which will enable the Strawberry Reservoir to be increased in size from 283,000 acre-feof water to about 1,106,500 acre-fe- Pago Four over-dosag- Mr. and Mrs. Perry F.
