McDonald, Jr, 86, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2004 in Blanding, Utah from causes incident to age, after a long illness. He was called Wes by all who knew and loved him. He was born March 9, 1918 in Salt Lake City, Utah, an only child, to Lawrence W. McDonald, Sr., and Ellen Leona Fullmer. He was a musician, playing the piano with great skill and talent. Wes was a unique indi- vidual, with tremendous energy and intense curiosity. While still a young man he began a lifetime of intensive scripture study and up to the time of his passing he was often sought out for his knowledge of scripture, and his knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
