Chances are pretty good it was Gary Guymon. Gary became interested in art early in his life as a second grade teacher, Rowena Winter, ' ?4 4W I -- - Guido Frick of Germany. He invited Gary to come and paint with him in Monument Valley the next day. Guido has become Mr. Guymons mentor and helped him learn Western Impressionism as a method to quickly capture the light and color of this beautiful canyon country.
