The former resident of Monticello was born February 16, 1931 in Arnold, NE, the son of Charles - August 10, Hoopes passed away August 12, 2004, following a courageous fight against cancer. Frances was born in Monticello, Utah, on April 7, 1919 to Henry Lloyd Hansen tative to the National Wildlife Federation. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She has been the recipient of many awards including the Merit of Honor Award from the U ofU Alumni Association, the Outstanding Achievement Award from the YWCA, Woman of the Year in Government Award and the Salt Lake Council Hall of Fame Award.
