ExxonMobil plays Santa by Leo Platero ExxonMobil has been playing Santa Claus this week in Montezuma Creek. The happy recipients are Whitehorse High School, Aneth Senior Citizen, and the Montezuma Creek Fire Station. Arlene Lee, new superintendent for ExxonMobil, has replaced Bob Vallery - who has been assigned to Africa. Lee gave a big check to Bob Sanders, and Robert Hall, who are both technology teachers at Whitehorse High School, to continue their technology program. Lee is from Cahone Mesa, a graduate of San Juan High School Class of 1978 and the wife of Hank Lee, former police officer for San Juan County. We focus on donating monies to schools, fire stations, se nior citizen center and other groups and families that live in and around our ExxonMobil lease areas. She continues, We are looking to the future of our company and educating our school students, many of whom will probably work for ExxonMobil. We have need of an educated work force. We rely on the fire department to help us when and if we have a fire. ExxonMobil can justify giving money at this time because of its consistent work operation. Other nationwide Foun- dations in the country are experiencing tough economic times. At this Christmas time we teach safety concerning trees and decoration in the house and outside the house, says Arlene Lee, We want everyone to have a safe Christmas.
