Nine of us enjoyed this. We admired the fall colors on several stops along the way. Before heading home, we had tasty ice cream treats in Blanding. Our mathematician, Doyle Rowley, calculated the closest to 418 candy corn kernels to win the guessing game this month. Eleven happy bingo players had a wild first Bingo. Clio Nebeker won the grand prize of Veda Pehrsons hotpants with hot pads after a wild Monticello M blackout game. Mary Jane Thies won the most games, even after threats of handicapping! We all had a We are happy to have II. B. - Our Halloween luncheon was fun with some of us in costume. Martha was very lovely as Annie Oakley. Bernice Barry won the Halloween day guessing game. The stuffed green peppers were especially good on a cold day - and the special graveyard desserts were clever. We decided to be the Pumpkin games at our second Bingo session. She also won the grand prize and donated it back to the Center. We had a cheerful thank J.J. Steffen for entertaining us with such happy harmonica songs before he and Shirley headed south for the winter. We hummed all through lunch that day. was. For Richer or Poorer was really funny. Glad hes recuperating so well after his fall. It was good to see Louise Harvey one day in October in Blue Mountain Foods my second home. Our Cortez excursions were fun for eight and then 14 of us. We ate at the Golden Corral time. There were 13 participating. During a Thursday lunch, Norma Freestone played an original serenade for us. We really appreciate and enjoy her original piano tunes. Thank you Norma, you can play for us anytime - even during your birthday month, which this their own vehicle. There were Maxine Frost, Nedra Hazelwood, Jenny Montano, Malva Jones and Wanda McPehrson.
