Wedding announced Navajo rug exhibit at Edge of the Cedars y through September 1, Edge of the Cedars State Park Museum Continuing presents two exciting exhibits. In the main exhibit hall: WEAVING TRADITIONS OF THE FOUR CORNERS; TO CLASSIC FROM CONTEMPORARY, is a selection of outstanding Navajo weavings from the Durango and Southwest Collection of the Center for Southwest Studies Wayne Pehrson and Trisha King have chosen June 26 to be married in the Logan Temple of the Church of Jesus Saints. Christ of Latter-daTrisha is the daughter of John and Lori Poppino and is from Sonora, California. She graduated from Sonora High School and Utah State University. She served an LDS mission in Nashville, Tennesee. Wayne is the son of Eugene in Durango, CO. In the Museum Auditorium an exhibit entitled GENERATIONS will also be featured. GENERATIONS is a collection of weavings from families of weavers of the Two Grey HillsToadlena area in New Mexico. In addition to the exhibits, a free program will be offered to the public.
