THANK YOU! THANK YOU! There just arent the right words to thank this community for all that they have done to support the National Guards 1457th Engineering Battalion and their families in their deployment. This is a very difficult time for the soldiers and their families and your overwhelming support in the work- place, homes, and cities has helped to make this much more bearable. What a wonderful sight for our soldiers to see all the flags and banners, and the yellow ribbons tied around poles and trees reminding them that we are so proud of them and that we hope they return quickly and safely. We are grateful to all of you who came out to send the soldiers off. The sight of all your faces will give hope and pride to our soldiers and let them know our communities are behind them one hundred percent. Our sincere thanks goes out to all of the area businesses, organizations, and individuals (there are so many!!) who have lent their time, talents, supplies, and personal funds to help this unit know that they are loved and appreciated. From ribbon tying, to babysitting services, from help and donations for a farewell dinner for the soldiers and their families to giving medical, dental and vision service's to our soldiers with no advance notice, so many of'you have been so wonderful! I wish we knew who you all were to thank you personally, but know that in our hearts we appreciate all you have1 done. So many of you have touched our lives in small and giant ways. We salute you. Thank you again for making this difficult time an outpouring of love and support for our soldiers, their families, and our country. God bless America, and especially this community! The San Juan Record is a member of the Utah Press Association and National Newspaper Association Dear Editor: The word home evokes many profound and tender feelings in all of us. When Haley Boyle was in the hospital and then in rehabilitation after a recent vehicle accident, our goal was to get her well enough to come home. After 1 12 weeks of therapy, Haleys doctor said that it would be good to take her home for a week to Finish her recuperation. They say love heals all wounds. We believe it! We brought Haley home where she feels loved and comfortable. But home extends beyond our house. Home is here in San Juan County where people from Blanding and Monticello have been so good to send flowers, goodies, cards, words of cheer, phone calls, prayers and visits. We are grateful to be a part of this area and thank you, one and all, for your extensions of love and concern. Cassie and Scott Boyle Great to come home Dear Editor, Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
