Monticello outscored the in overteam from Moab time to secure the Region 13 8-- 2 win. Grand dominated play in the first half, building a 22-1- 6 lead through two quarters over the Bucks. Monticello came roaring back in the second half. With 30 seconds remaining in the game, the Bucks were behind by three points and Grand had the ball. Once again, defensive pressure by the Bucks forced a Devil turnover. Scherick shot and missed the potential game winning shot, which was rebounded by September Black. Black was fouled and sent to the line, where she made a free throw as time expired to tie the score and send it into overtime.
