Show Mission call Sun Dagger video at Edge of Cedars Brodi Welker Cook has been called to serve the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-daSaints in the Macon Georgia Mission. Brodi is a son of Jodi Welker Young and Layne Cook of Ogden. Brodis farewell will be November 17 at 11 am in the Monticello Fourth Ward, 347 North 2nd West. Family and friends are invited. A free video presentation of the classic documentary film, The Sun Dagger," will be shown at Edge of the Cedars State Park in y Blanding on Thursday, November 21 at 7 p.m. in the museum auditorium. The Sun Dagger refers to the celestial calendar discovered by Anna Sofaer on Fajada Butte in the Chaco Canyon region of New Mex- Following the presentation, a museum archaeologist from Edge of the Cedars will lead a discussion on the discovery of the site, its relationship to other astronomical sites, and the functional aspects of the Sun Dagger. The Sun Dagger presentation is the final in a series of programs on ar ico. A new sculpture, located just west of Edge of the Cedars ruin, has been designed by Joe Pachak of Bluff to explore these like home for the holidays!
