They are each making a picture in this stitch and will then make a pillow of it. Members of the club are: Jodi Kurtz, president; Angela Chan, secretary; Ellen Jones, reporter; Lynette Jones and Felicia Chan, members. Kay Jones is 4-- vice, prices received by Utah H farmers and ranchers during the first half of February were generally lower than the previous month. In prices for all beef cattle dropped $2.40 per hundredweight (cwt.) from last month to $50.30. Steers and heifers averaged $53 per cwt., $3 below Januarys price of $56 and $10.10 below February 1985. Prices for cows averaged $33.90 per cwt., $1.20 above last months price of $32.70 but $3.30 below last years price. At $61.10 per cwt., calf prices were down 90 cents from the previous month and down $2.20 per cwt. from the previous year. Sheep and lamb prices rose with respect to last month and mid-Februar- the leader. MES spelling winners Winners and runners-u- p in the Monticello Elementary meet are: Grade 6, Travis Forrest and Ben Semadeni; Grade 5, Brian Wikle and Janalynn Walker; and Grade 4, Brad Bunker and Aleigh Nebeker. These students will represent MES at the District Spelling Bee scheduled for March 20 spelling Lesa Ewart and Tobyn DeGraw put finishing touches on their entries in the National Community College Month poster contest. The contest, sponsored by the Monticello office of the CEU-Sa- n Juan campus, commemorated college month and the tenth anniversary of CEU-Sa- n Juan campus. Lesa and Tobyn, who tied for first place, will each receive a tape of their choice from Blue Mountain Music in Monticello. CEU officials encourage the public to visit their office at 96 West First South.
