Keele photo Janet Wilcox, Wilcox receives two awards Janet Wilcox of Blanding was honored with a special recognition award and a Community Service Award by College of Eastern Utah San Juan Center duringcom-menceme- nt ceremonies onJunel, She was given the award for her work in organizing, and bringing, to fruition San Juan Education Days, Wilcox received the Community Service Award for the multitude of services she has performed for the College and the community. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Lyman and family took Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Guymon on vacation to Disneyland. They left us all in charge of watching the new addition go up. The builders are making great progress. We wish a speedy recovery to Wes Markham and Johnnie Fears who are spending time in the hospital. Our activities this week included the senior citizen bus ride on Monday and Friday with Sylvan Johnson; quilting; three video movies; rythmnbandwithNanette Allen at the piano; pop com; ring toss; bingo; and piano music by Alveta Brown and Jayne Holliday. Teek Lyman was treated to a visit by his son Brett Lyman and family from Arizona. Dayne, Lois and Travis Shumway and Donna Authur and family also visited with Teek. Ned Jensen visited with DeUa Bronson. Irene Redd saw Gene and Francelle Blickenstaff, Visiting Edna Steffen were J.J., Shirley, and Jalene Steffen and Amanda Garner. Sunday, May 29, Larry Brown conducted Sacrament Meeting, Cameron Brown andLarry Brown were the speakers, in resident council Austin Lyman led the discussion on values in our life.
