Show THE SAN JUAN RECORD Thursday, February 11, 1982 - Page 21 Circuit Court judge hears fourteen cases Walter Conrad, defendant, both by Carl Eisemann With Judge Boyd Bunnell presiding in his customary, efficient the Circuit Court manner, of three a docket adjudicated criminal, one probate and eleven civil cases on Tuesday. On the criminal calendar. Bunnell placed Robert Judge Jones on two years probation and ordered him to make full restitution on charges of burglary at the Monticello Sears store. The plaintiff contended she had contributed all of her salary and other assets to a joint account ar during the marriage. Defendant contended that a good portion of the accumulated assets had come from his inheritance and settlements not related to the marital incomes. In his closing statement counselor Craig Halls stated that the plaintiff was entitled to an equal share of the assets and alimony. Defense attorney, Eric Swenson, argued that plaintiff was entitled to a lesser settlement than requested and no alimony. Judge Bunnell commented that this was a no win situation for the one-ye- advised Jones that failure to fulfill all terms of probation would result in a prison sentence of up to five years. The court advised all attorneys to prepare memoranda for submission stating their positions prior to the March 16 trial date. The case, which involves millions of dollars in royalty rights, has been in litigation for several years. The following civil cases were continued: State of Utah, Office of Recovery and Anne Lameman versus LeRoy Duran, paternity Delbert and Evelyn issue; Plamer, plaintiffs, versus La Van Palmer and Fredrick Rogers to set aside or modify a judgement. Judge Bunnell Issued a bench warrant and a $100 fine against DeLoy Shumway for failure toap-pe- ar to answer charges brought Hurst Explosives. W.B. by Attorneys representing Energy Fuels and Marion Birch stated that the case had been settled out of court.
