And Redd grandparents, Wyman and Lou In Monticello are happy too! JOE JACK BROWNING Cheyann and Stephen in Gar- Wedding date set Mr. and Mrs. Donald C. Bayles are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Alisa Dawn, to Wendell Rose, son of Mr. and Mrs; Otis Rose of Morgan, Utah. Alisa, a San Juan High School graduate, has attended Utah Technical College in Provo and is now : a student at Utah State University in Logan where she is majoring in early childhood education. Wendell, a graduate of Morgan has served an Alaskan mission for the Church of Saints. Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y He has attended Weber State College and Utah State University. The couple plans a June 25 marriage in the Salt Lake Temple. They will make their home in Ogden where Alisa will continue her education at Weber State and Wendell will be employed at Richards Sheet Metal. A reception in their honor will be held June 25 at the North LDS Chapel in Blanding. High School, land Texas Are thrilled down to their solar plexus! On May 21st a boy they had A big, 22 12 inch, 9 pound lad! Joe Jack will be his name. Spencer and Tletch are glad he came. As are paternal grandfolk Lila and Joe Out in California - San Diego. Serving Lunch and Dinners Daily Specials Temple wedding Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Straley of Bucyrus, Ohio, announce the engagement of their daughter, Teri, to Duane Shoemaker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Shoemaker, Jr. of Monticello. Teri, a rus 1975 graduate of Bucy- High School and a 1979 graduate of Brigham Young Un- iversity, taught English, speech and drama at Monticello High School in 1980-8- 1. Duane, a 1978 Monticello High School graduate, plans to attend the College of Eastern Utah this fall majoring in public relations and communications. He has a misTahitian served sion for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints. 2-y- ear The couple will be married at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 12, in the Salt Lake Temple. An open house in their honor will be held June 16 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at their home, 249 West Silverstone, Monticello.
