Unofficially, farmers, ranchers, professional conservationists and archaeologists met, aired some of their grievances and agreed on at least one point the need to find a viable solution to the differences plaguing cattlemen and archaeologists. The daylong tour, a joint effort of the Utah State University Extension Service and the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service, featured four projects, two Congressional Act.
