The traditional Christmas oratorio is slated for Satur- day, December 8, at 6:30 p.m. in the San Juan High School auditorium. Tryouts are also being scheduled for alto and bass voices for membership in the Canyonlanders. The tryouts will be Sunday, September 23, at 7 p.m. Singers throughout San Juan County are invited to participate in the production of the Messiah, The oratorio will be directed by Peter Henderson, with full orchestration from Snow College.
