Show Talent Show, Poetry Festival Eastland Scouts Honored March 29 MES The Thursday, San Poetry Festivals and field hold the spotlight currently at Monticello Elementary School. On April 13th, trips the fourth grades under the direction of Maxine Lyman, presented the 1972 version of the annual Poetry Festival. This yearly presentation features every fourth grade student in reciting poems in duets and trios. The mothers of the Cub Scouts presented them with their Bobcat pins. There was a short program, which included talks by Bart Johnson and Max Johnson. Joyce Harvey photo Named to College Honor Roll Kaylene Burtenshaw, daughand Mrs. Devon Burtenshaw of Monticello, has been named to the honor roll for the winter quarter at Snow College. To be named to the honor ter of Mr. roll, a student must achieve a grade point average of 3.50 or better (of a possible 4.0) and take at least 15 quarter hours of study.
