Show Come in and meet Museum Board met last Our New Thuesday evening in library with eight members present. Several projects were discussed and progress reported on. Several members were out of town. Joe Foy is doing his annual painting of the museum floor this week. Mrs. Ben Schaefer received word of the death of Goldie Barnes on Jan . 18 in Costa Mesa, Calif. She was born in Oklahoma in 1905. She was the wife of Barnev Barnes. The Bames lived in the Monticello area in the Thirties Jim Wight took his son, Kipper to Logan last Thursday to participate in a scholarship test at the USU. Kipper was a guest of the college Friday night. Mrs. Nell Dalton accompanied them to Logan wnere she visited with her daughters, Georgia and Carol and their families. They also called on Val and Aleta Dalton and met their new son, Jed Tyler. They returned home Saturday. Mrs. Veda Pehrson and Mrs, Laura Pehrson hosted an all day quilting party at Laura's home last Monday. Eight ladies came in the morning and enjoyed the delicious luncheon served at noon. Several more quilters came in the afternoon. The quilt was a double wedding ring and was completely finished by evening. Glen Wilkin has been released from the LDS Hospital and is staying at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Richard Service Manager He is a trained John Deere mechanic. Melvin Dalton returned home Sunday from the South- western International Livestock show at El Paso, Texas, Mr. Dalton bought some registered bulls there. Mr. and Mrs. John Stucky are rejoicing over a son born Monday, Feb. 8, at Shiversport. La. The baby weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz. , and will be named John Boyd. Rejoicing with them are grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Wilson, who have been visiting the Stuckeys since December. Bob Low will undergo further surgery at the University iospital this week. His wife, Darlene, and son, Roger have gone to Salt Lake to be with him. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Gofrey are the proud parents of a baby girl, Cecily, bom recently at Logan, Utah. The little girl weighed 7 lbs. 10 os. , and joins a brother, Dalin at home.
