The House has passed, and the Senate tentatively endorsed a proposed constitutional amendment to be placed on the 1972 election ballot, putting before the people the question- - should the 18 year olds be allowed to vote in state and local elections. The Governor proposes, and bills have been prepared, giving the 18 year olds this right now, as is the case in Federal elections.
