Show ,'v 5 ;-- , From the LaSals Word was received early Mon day morning by Mr. and Mrs. Charles Huffaker of the death of Mr. Huffaker's father, Paul D. Huffaker. The elder Mr. Huffaker, 72, who had been in ill health for some time, was in the Community Hosp- ital in Canoga Park, Calif, at the time of his death. Funeral services will be held at Mar , tin Mortuary, Thursday at 10 a. m. , burial in Orchard Mesa Cemetery in Grand Junction.' Mr. and Mrs. Charles Huffaker. and daughter, Jo Ellen, had motored to Calif, to visit the deceased Thursday thru Sunday. Returning home by way of Dixie College to enroll Jo Ellen for the coming year, it was here they received word. For Continued Progress & Growth Miss Becky Blankenguel was involved in a one car accident late Friday evening. She was returning home from a football game in Moab, and was on the gravel road about one mile from her home, when the accident occurred. She reports she was blinded by headlights of another car and lost control of the car. She escaped without injuries, but the car was a total loss. Mrs. E.H. Franklin and Mr. and Mrs. Volney Lill were Monticello visitors this week. They were looking over the Franklin property which is up for sale. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Wight honored their son, Kipper, on his birthday last week with a party at the Monticello Country Club. Kipper, Phillip Broderick, John Larsen, Kay Randall, Tom Evans, and Dave Bronson enjoyed a shrimp dinner and bowling afterwards. The boys report a real spe- cial time.
