The educational program informed the audience of different aspects of light. A very successful post prom was held between 1 and 2 p. m Monday afternoon. The dance was earlier and shorter than usual since the Juniors needed to return some of their decorations that night. Eighth graders spent most of Monday taking achievement tests. An assembly featuring the D's is scheduled for 11a, m. Friday. Last Friday was midterm of the final term of school - yeah Primary elections of officers in next year's club were held Tuesday at noon. Dr. and Mrs. Melvin Frost and Professor Ray Hinkel were overnight guests Saturday of the Alfred Frosts. They were returning from a geography conven- tion at BYU, where both men presented papers. They are both professors of geography at Arizona State University. The Frosts and their guests attended the Junior Prom Saturday night. Mrs. Eloise Fullmer and Mrs. Clytie Barber were Salt Lake City visitors last weekend. Mr. Rust Black of Fairbanks, Alaska spent the weekend in Monticello with his family. Mrs. Balck took him to Salt Lake City Monday to catch a plane back to Fairbanks. Mr. Black says the weather there beats the heck out of our wind. College students seen in Monticello this weekend were : Frank Young, Ronnie Young, Scott Redd and friend, Bat Butler and friend, Dee Woods, Kenna Miller and friend, and James Wilson. |
