Martin Hoover, the Baptist preacher has resigned his position and he and his wife Elaine will be moving this coming Monday, TTniran M From the LaSals Mr. and Mrs. Paul Redd and Family came home from Provo this week to help in the preparation for the Redd Ranches annual Bull Sale. Many of the Ranch employees are also helping to prepare for the large crowd expected this Saturday. Numerous friends and cattle--me- n have been invited for lunch and to attend the sale. Deputy Sheriff Verle Green returned home Monday evening after being in Colorado for the last two weeks on vacation. Reports that he is glad to get home and back on the job. Belle Tatton will leave Wednesday morning for Salt Lake City. There she will stay with her daughter and Family, Belle Marie Laylander. Mrs. Laylander is recovering after having back surgery. Mrs. Joy Lambert of Paradox spent the last two weeks in the Mrs. Montrose hospital, after falling irom a horse. She is convalesce ing at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Art McKelvy. The La Sal Junction Women Bowling team took first place, in Tuesday's Tournament, in Moab. On the champion team are: Wanetta McTaggart, Joann Key, Wanete Canuteson. Modean Easterling, Marlyn Scartoza and Margaret Pittman. Banquet and trophies will be presented Tuesday evening, April 28. Mrs. Martha Klien is a patient at the I.W. Allen Memorial Hospital in Moab. She has made her home here for the past several months with her daughter's family, The Charles Huffakers. Mr. Blaine Jones, Extension Agent from Monticello, visited the La Sal school Tuesday to 4-give a talk about Mrs. Helen Flory from Tucson, Arizona is here this week visiting her Mother, Mrs. Hazel Shorts, and her brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Plank.
