Show JAonticello happenings of Mrs. Clara Johnson and four children came from Kaysville for an Easter visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Black, and other relatives. Miss Rita Likes of Moab was a weekend guest here of Miss Emma Randall. Mrs. Ila Redd and daughter, Kathy, spent a few days in Salt Lake City during the spring vacation. Miss Clara Randall came from Snowflake, Ariz. to spend the Easter vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Randall. They took her as far as Page, Ariz. where she met her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Grant McMullen, and went on to Snowflake. MONTICELLO LOCALS the week Montezuma Creek News Mrs. Oscar Jameson of Provo has been visiting here this week with her mother, Mrs. Lovima Redd. Weekend visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Reid Davis were his sister and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Bullock, and family of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Dickerman of Shiprock, N.M. were visiting relatives here during the Easter weekend. Also here was Dave Somerville of Morgan. They had a family Sunday at the Kedric Somerville home. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Peikert drove to Snyder, Texas to be with Harold's folks, Mr and Mrs. 0. L. Peikert. While there, Orian, Bobby and Billy Dulaney, visited ofCharlotte Mr. and Mrs. daughter Thurban Charles Dulaney of Montezuma Creek. The Bill McAlpine family Dees grandmother, visited Mrs. John Ervin, who lives in Grand Junction. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Garner and boys travelled to Phoenix, Ariz. The Stanley Moores were Arizona bound, also. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Fisher and girls spent the weekend in Farmington with Lois mother, Mrs. Frank Buller. Mrs. Bull-e- r returned home with them for a short stay. Easter was a pleasant occasion for Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Hoskins Mrs. Hoskins was released from the hospital the day before. Glad to see you home again, Patty. Little Andrea Hensley is again in the hospital She sure has had a time of it lately. McArthur was in Santa Fe, the Presbyterian Chapel had the pleasure of having Rev. Thomas I. Myers of Albuquerque as guest preacher. Rev. Myers is in charge of the Ranchmens camp meetings in the southwest. Many of the people out here may have met him at these yearly meetings. By the way, the Four Corners Ranchmens camp meeting will be held northeast of Cortez, near Summit Reservoir this year. The date is Aug. Work will soon be completed on the laundry that Lamar Ashcroft is putting in. The building is next to the Trading Post. Randy Michael and Karen Ashcroft didn't enjoy their time away from school too much. Both youngsters had their tonsils out last Thursday. Preliminary bowling as a re- two-third- in Ogden on May 23 and 24 is now underway at Park Lanes in Monticello, according to Keith Shumway, manager. Events in the state tourney Include womens, mens and mixed teams and mixed doubles. Any local team or individual is eligible if they are ABC or WIBC bowlers. Preliminary games may be bowled any time lanes are available at Park Lanes between April 1 and May 10. Bowlers may bowl preliminaries as many times as they like but can only bowl with one team in the finals. Teams are composed of five bowlers, of which three must be regulars having bowled with the same team 21 games or more.
