Show Rebus Rotas meet with Mrs. Milner f.liss Pehrson will participate Gold and Green Ball in Utah Junior Miss Pageant BLANDING The Blanding three wards and the Indian Branch MIAs will hold their annual Gold and Green Ball on Sat., Feb. 1. The dance will start at 8.30 p.m. In the LD3 recreation hall with Francis Lymans orchestra providing the music. A special floor show will begin at 9 p.m. The hall will be decorated in keeping with theme, The Hidden Valley, will be and refreshments served. There will be no admission charge. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy an evening of dancing and entertainment. Miss Patricia Ann Pehrson, who is a student at Monticello High school, has been accepted as a participant in the Utah Junior Miss Pageant to be held in the Cottonwood Mall auditorium In Salt Lake City on Jan. 24 and 25. Miss Pehrson will join other outstanding high school girls from the entire state of Utah who will participate in this state final pageant competition. She will meet the five carefully selected, qualified judges in personal Interviews on Friday afternoon. She will present to the judges a transcript of her high school credits for evaluation as to scholastic achievements. She will also be interviewed on ambitions, hopes, Interests and current events. She will then participate with others in a youth fitness routine, recommended by the State Board of Education. Following dinner at the Hot Shoppes Cafeteria, the judges will evaluate the girls for poise and appearance as they parade in street attire.
