This Ordinance adds to Chapter XXXV, Section 691, entitled Rules and Regulations, and Reports, the following said Section or subsection 691(a) to wit: ORDINANCE NO. An Ordinance Providing For The Collection of Electricity Bills Be it and it is hereby ordained by the City Council of the Town of Monticello, San Juan County, State of Utah, that the City Treasurer shall at such time or times required by the City Council, to mail a written state- ment to each water user stating he amount of the electricity bill assessed .against him and when and where payable. If anv person neglects, refuses or fails to pay his electricity bill within twenty (20) days from the date of said statement, the Treasurer is hereby authorized and ed to have the electricity requirturned off from the premises of said person where such unpaid electricity bill is assessed, and before the electricity shall be turned on again all delinquent electricity charges must be paid in full to the end of the term assessed, and $3.00 dollars additional for expenses which must be turned in to the city The Treasurer is hereby treasury. authorized! and required to enforce the payment of all delinquent electricity rates by an action of law in the corporate name of the City.
