Joseph Fell Squires, 57, succumbs to blood disease at his home. pjl 'fern Deceased Was Assistant Postmaster 30 Years; 11. Joseph Fell LOGAN". June Squires. 67, prominent citizen of I- postmaster ior gan and assistant about thirty years, died last evening at his home, 155 North Second West street, following a two years Illness of a blood disease. Mr. Squires was the second son of John F. and Alice Malben Squires and was born in Salt Lake February 11, 1871. In January. 1876. his parents moved to Logan and since that time he had resided here. Mr. Saulres had been active In civic and religious organi zations, having served as secretary of the fortieth quorum of seventies for two years and at the time of his death was a member of the Third ward bishopric. He also was a mem ber of the Rotary club and th Logan chamber of commerce. In 1895 Mr. Squires was married to Miss Ketta Bnllif. Beside his widow, Mr. Squires is survived by the fol lowing children: Joseph Fell Squires. Chester B. Jr., Ni w Orleans. Squire, Logan; Serge L.J. Sqjilres. Malben Wichita Falls, Texas; Soulres.
