The widower la Luigl Salamone of Brooklyn. He was sued for divorce by ..StaL. Mariana Salamone on December SI, 1927. Salamone did not defend the suit. An Interlocutory decree was awarded the wife on January 3. Salamone, In his plea today, said his wife and he had settled their differences three days after the divorce- - when she was taken to a hospital. She died on January 19, sixteen days after she had been awarded the Interlocutory decree. Her attorney recorded a final decree on April 27, despite the fact that she was dead, Salamone said. The court ruled Salamone must bring action in equity court so his rights to his vlfe's property may be determined.
