This is the first season the Eagles will play a home and an away series against each region opponent, doubling the number of Scenic West Athletic Conference games from last year. Head coach Scott Madsen, who took over the program this season after working as a pitching coach, said the teams batting is also starting to come around after a long winter indoors.
