Kav ros. age 7li, passed away Saturday, July 2t, 2003, after surgery at the I S PRICF-Fer- n heart disease. Pern was born on Sept. 0, 1019 in Castle Dale to Flisha Allen Jones and Janette Harold Jewkes of Orangeville on June 10, 1939. They made their home in Kenilworth and later moved to Price and then She n. al-- w ay s took the time to sen e her own children as well as many other children. She volunteered her time as a cub scout den leader and whermother, a ever else she was needed. She was the neighborhood mom w ho always had a house full of kids Pven in her failing health she always had a smile and word of appreciation for anyone who helped her. Fern was the last surviving member of a family of children 4-- H 1 1 Pern was preceded in death by her husband Harold, her parents, brothers and sisters Reuel Jones, Vord Jones, Ruie Jones, Gerald Jones, Irene Marshall, Lonel Jones. Way ne Jones, Ly le Jones, Grant Jones, Kola Stilson, and grandson Jared Johnson. She is survived by her children Bill Jewkes and wife Vila of Price, and Ly nette Rich and husband Joe ol Helper, grandchildren James Jewkes, Daniel Jewkes, Janet t Saindon, Jake Johnson, Trevor Byrge, Travis Byrge, Angel Rich, Ashley Rich, and three greatgrandchildren. Interment in the Mountain I' N T (IT 0 N Vo n d a McLIprang Corgiat, lifetime resident of Huntington, died Aug 3, 2003 at age 90 She vv as born in 1907 to Peter and Maud McKlprangof Huntington and was sister to two brothers, the N -- late Milton and P.lvin McLIprang, as well as three sisters, the late Bertha (Louis) Jones, Della (James) Potter and Mary McLIprang. She married John R Corgiat in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple, and together they built and managed Jacks Motor Sen ice in Huntington for 10 years They also established Jack's Warehouse and Wholesale Candy Jack passed away March 10,' 1979 View Cemetery in Helper maintained a large, beau-lilgarden al her home. Vonda served actively throughout her life assuming such positions as President of the Relief Society, Ml Ward Officer as well as Stake Ollicer She taught Primary and served as President of the Huntington Chapter ol the Daughters ol the Clah Pioneers She also taught Sunday school for 27 years Vonda is survived by daughters Ray Rene Corgiat of Leeds, N't .and Mrs Darlene (David) w ay s ul West, Salt Lake City, five grand- children and four be held Funeral sen a m in the Hunting-to- n Aug. at LDS Stake Center on Main Street.
